Anaglyph 3D

These are two dimensional images capable of producing a 3D effect when seen through anaglyph glasses – typically red and cyan filters. The technique was invented in 1891 by French pioneer in colour photography Louis Ducos de Hauron. It was used for the first time in 1922, in the US film “The Power of Love”, but was forgotten during the crisis and World War II, until in the 50’s it became popular in B and sci-fi movies.
